Refund & Returns Policy

At Greene Atelier, we take immense pride in the quality of our garments and our commitment to the craft. Our goods come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law (ACL).

You are entitled to a replacement or refund for a major failure and compensation for any other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage. You are also entitled to have the goods repaired or replaced if the goods fail to be of acceptable quality and the failure does not amount to a major failure.

1. Consumer Guarantees

If a product you purchased from greeneatelier.store has a fault, you have rights under the ACL.

  • Major Failures: A major failure happens when the item:

    • Has a problem that would have stopped someone from buying it if they had known about it.

    • Is significantly different from the description or sample.

    • Is substantially unfit for its common purpose and cannot be easily fixed.

    • Is unsafe. In the event of a major failure, you can choose between a refund or a replacement.

  • Minor Failures: If the problem is not major, we will repair the item within a reasonable time. If we cannot repair it, we will offer a replacement or a refund at our discretion.

2. Change of Mind

We want you to be completely satisfied with your purchase. While the ACL does not require a refund for a change of mind, Greene Atelier offers a 14-day return period from the date of delivery.

  • Conditions: The item must be in its original, unworn, and unwashed condition with all tags attached.

  • Exclusions: For hygiene reasons, undergarments and socks cannot be returned for a change of mind.

  • Return Shipping: The cost of return shipping for "change of mind" is the responsibility of the customer.

3. How to Initiate a Return

To start a return process, please follow these steps:

  1. Contact our support team at costumer@greeneatelier.store with your order number and clear photos of the issue (if applicable).

  2. Our team will assess the claim and provide you with a Return Authorisation (RA) number and instructions on where to send the package.

  3. Once received and inspected, we will process your refund or replacement within 5–7 business days.

4. Incorrect or Missing Items

If you have received an incorrect item or an item is missing from your order, please notify us within 48 hours of delivery so we can rectify the error immediately at no additional cost to you.

5. Proof of Purchase

Please retain your order confirmation email or invoice as proof of purchase for all return and refund claims.
